Super Block
Super Block is a unique serum-free blocking of non-specific antibody binding in IHC, ELISA and western blot. Super Block eliminates the need for matching species with the link antibody and is often, more effective at reducing non-specific background staining than normal serum. Ready-to-use no mixing required Super Block reduces the handling of animal serums in the laboratory. A streamlined formulation without normal serum in the product eliminates the need to match species with the secondary antibody.
Summary Protocol:
IHC: Incubate on tissue section prior to application of the primary antibody.
ELISA: Add Super Block to microtiter well and incubate prior to addition of sample. Rinse and continue procedure.
Western Blot: An effective blocker for this technique at room temperature.
